WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM Contest Rules

Rules to be followed when entering WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM Sponsored Contests

A complete copy of these rules can be obtained at the offices of WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM, 830 Hillsdale Road, Jasper AL 35504, during normal business hours, Monday - Friday.

1. No purchase is necessary to enter a WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM sponsored contest.

2. All contests are open to the general public except for current WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM staff members and their immediate families, and household members.

3. Any individual and/or member of an immediate family may win a WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM contest only once each 30 days, unless specifically stated in the contest rules.

4. WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM reserves the right to end a contest at any time without advance notice to the public.

5. WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM reserves the right to limit the number of times any individual may enter a contest or drawing.

6. WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM reserves the right to set age limits or place other restrictions on contest entry.

7. All  Federal, State, Local and/or other taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees, licensing fees, or other fees for prizes awarded become the sole responsibility of the winner of said prize.  All who win prizes with a value in excess of $500 will be issued an IRS form 1099 to report their winnings.

8. All prizes are awarded "as is".  Prizes and gifts are non-transferable and exchanged is not permitted.

9. WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

10. All entrants and winners agree that WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM, it's employees, volunteers and/or anyone associated with WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM shall have bear no liability and shall be held blameless in the event of injury, misfortune, or damage to either persons or property that may occur due to entering, participating in, winning or losing any contest or by use or non use of any prize or prizes received.

11. All prizes must be claimed at WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM's offices at 830 Hillsdale Road, Jasper, AL 35504 during normal business hours, within 30 days of winning.  If not claimed within this time period, ownership shall revert to WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM.

12. Proper identification must be presented to claim prizes. Winners may be asked to fill out a release form.

13. All entry blanks, forms and materials, as well as the information contained on or within become the sole property of WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM.

14. All winners agree that WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM may broadcast or publish their name, city of residence, photo, videotape, film, voice or any other likeness for any reason the station deems desirable and/or necessary without compensation.

15. In the event of a tie, the winner shall be determined by a random drawing or other means deemed as determined by WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM.  The decision of WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM shall be final.

16. Winners of on-air call in contests shall be determined by the announcer conducting the contest.  The decision is final.

17. WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM reserves the right to require contestants to be present at drawings in order to win their prize.

18. WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM reserves the right to issue specific rules pertaining to a particular contest and those rules shall be considered as a binding portion of these rules.

19. Violation or attempted violation of any of these rules or attempts at winning any contest by and through the use of fraud, deception, or cheating shall be grounds for WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM to disqualify that individual from participating in all current and future contests and events. This shall be based solely at the discretion of WQJJ 97.7 Fox-FM.
